This was such a fun session. All my summer outdoor sessions downtown Belvidere have been filled with so much adventure and playtime that they don't even feel like photo sessions. When it comes to photographing 2 or 3 year olds, you better believe it needs to be fun, otherwise they want nothing to do with the camera. As we walked through downtown Belvidere, we stopped along the way to take some pictures and Hunter was having a blast which resulted in some adorable smiles.
The second part of our session, we headed off to the fire station #1 just down the street from the studio. Hunter's mom and I discussed including these photos in the session as his 3rd birthday party was fire truck/fireman themed. Big thanks to my husband for arranging the photos at the station for me with fire chief Al and and Captain Burdick. We were originally going to do a couple photos in front of the truck but the fireman at firehouse #1 were beyond amazing with Hunter and let him sit in the truck and gave him a fire hat as well. This little guy is obsessed with fire trucks so can you imagine his smiles and amazement when we got to the station. It made my day to see him so happy. He was all about the truck and sitting in it, we know that was the highlight for him and we could have finished the session right there. Biggest thank you to firehouse #1 and the fireman that made this day so special for Hunter.
But that is not all, we went over to the amazing Sips and Sprinkles and had some ice cream to finish off our time together. This was really the only way we could get Hunter on board for some more pictures as nothing could top the fire truck. Here are some highlights from his session.
