Exciting New Things for 2019 {Belvidere IL, Rockford IL, Chicago IL Newborn Photographer}

Boy oh boy, how have I slacked on blogging.  You see, being a newborn, family, child or any other photographer is more about clicking the shutter and sending out images.  First, there are long hours spent on educating myself to know how to achieve amazing images under any circumstance. You might think, well, you have been in the photography business for about 7 years now so you should have all of that down.  And I do, for most part as far as technical aspects but there is always room to learn new techniques to be able to capture my clients in the best possible way, then there is finding your unique style and technique of editing photos.  I consider myself a fine art photographer, which means my editing is far more time consuming and requires a more in depth knowledge of editing techniques.  While, this might not be what every family is looking for, the families that choose me, come to me because they have fallen in love with my artistry.  I want to be able to provide my clients with a luxury experience that they are not able to find anywhere else or be able to produce themselves.  So I invest lots of time and money into keeping myself educated. Safety while photographing babies is of upmost importance to me so I am sure to invest time into researching best ways to keep babies safe.

All of the points above lead me to my exciting news.  Being a legitimate photography business, I have decided I need to have a store front to best serve my clients.  So the big news is that I will be moving into a downtown Belvidere photography studio, hopefully in the next month or so. Also, I want to be able to provide my clients with a guided experience from start to finish.  I want each client to feel confident they chose the right photographer for their needs, feel like they have me on their side to make the right decisions and that I will ensure you love your images and get them printed and displayed in your home as wall art, in an heirloom album or a keepsake box.  I decided to offer only top of the line products that are made with archival quality paper, ink and are preserved to last a lifetime.  I no longer want to choose the images for you, hand you a sign in to an online gallery and leave you wondering what to do with those photos besides sharing on social media (you will also be able to get digital images to share on social media, I understand the need for it :).  I want your children to feel seen and loved by being able to see themselves and your family displayed as art on your walls, albums they will be able to look through far longer than any social media will be around.  I love social media just like the next person but that is not the main goal of my business. I want clients to book me for my expertise in selecting the best products around for what they are envisioning for their house and how they want their children and future generations to remember them.

I understand I might not be a photographer for every person out there and there are plenty of wonderful photographers in our area to fit everyone's needs and budget.  For all clients who value quality and attention to detail, I am the girl for you.  It is an investment but this investment will only get more valuable as the time passes.  How many of us go out and don't blink an eye when spending thousands on TV's, furniture or other items that will only last for a few years before having to be replaced.  I want to focus on making sure that your memories last forever and you are able to display them in your home instead of generic art.

Follow me on Facebook or Instagram to see the progress on the studio and to see my latest work. Here are some photos of the wonderful quality products I offer but nothing replaces the feel and seeing them in person.  If you are looking for maternity, newborn, milestone, baby's 1st year, family, high school senior, or fine art portrait photographer for yourself, please contact me to find out if I am the right fit for you.   Heirloom Products Heirloom Products Heirloom Products Heirloom Products Heirloom Products Heirloom Products
